Daniel G. Spencer
Daniel Spencer is a professor emeritus of organizational behavior at the University of Kansas School of Business. Spencer received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Oakland University in 1972 and in 1974 earned his master’s in management from the school. Spencer later attended the University of Oregon and graduated with his doctorate in organization and management in 1979.
As a professor at KU, Spencer’s teaching interests included organizational behavior, leadership, research methods and the philosophy of science. His research focused primarily on the philosophy of science, leadership, and organizational behavior. Spencer retired from KU after 40 years at the end of the 2018-19 academic year.
