Douglas May is a professor emeritus of business ethics at the University of Kansas School of Business. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, a master’s degree from the University of Missouri, and a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
May directed activities associated with the school’s former Center for Business Ethics and worked with faculty to conduct curriculum development workshops for faculty and graduate students about international business ethics. He also worked with KU School of Business students to establish its code of conduct. May’s research interests included topics in business ethics and positive organizational scholarship. He taught courses in organizational behavior, business ethics, responsible conduct in research, and organizational theory at the undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and executive levels.
