Jane Zhao is a professor emerita of management at the University of Kansas School of Business. She received her bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University in China, her master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, and her doctoral degree from the University of Michigan. She joined the School of Business faculty in 2005.

Zhao’s research interests included strategic human resource management, innovation capability and motivation, and innovation capability and motivation. She taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels about strategic management, operating strategies, and business policy and strategy.
