Charles E. Krider

Charles E. Krider is a professor emeritus of economics and human resource management at the University of Kansas School of Business. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Kalamazoo College in 1963. Krider earned his MBA in 1966 and his doctorate in economics and labor relations in 1976, both from the University of Chicago.

While at KU, Krider’s research focused on state economic development strategies, particularly regarding technology and workforce preparation/training. Krider was a co-author of the Kansas Economic Development Strategy in 1986 and later worked with the state of Kansas on modifications and updates of that strategy.
