John Gergacz

John Gergacz is a professor emeritus of business law at the University of Kansas School of Business. Gergacz attended Indiana University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business economics and public policy in 1972. He received his Juris Doctor in 1975 from Indiana University.

Before teaching, Gergacz spent time as an attorney from 1975 to 1978. His teaching and research interests included attorney-corporate client privilege, ethics of corporate counsel, and ethics for business decision-making. During his time at KU, Gergacz was a five-time winner of the Henry Bubb Teaching Award.
