Ron Ash is a professor emeritus of human resources and organizational behavior at the University of Kansas School of Business. Ash received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio State University in 1972, and his master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology in 1974. Ash then went on to receive his doctoral degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of South Florida in 1981.

Ash joined the KU faculty in 1981. His research centered on the analysis of work, the performance of work, and human individual differences.
